Launching the festivities on Thursday, November 9th, Riofest explodes with an Art Gallery event at Casa de Amistad from 6 pm to 8 pm. Enjoy the vibrant showcase titled “South Texas Culture,” brought to life by the creative minds of HCISD students.
But that’s just the beginning! Riofests grand carnival, presented by Hearts of America will be located right by Casa de Amistad, tickets for the carnival will be at the carnival entrance.
As the sun sets on Friday, November 10th, Riofest’s pulse quickens with live music, headlined by Los Palominos & Kumbia Kings. Prepare your taste buds for an explosion of flavors as local culinary maestros dish out mouthwatering dishes, all within the vibrant energy of the Riofest beer garden. Meanwhile, kids and adults alike can indulge in an array of captivating activities and marvel at the dynamic artistry on display. Don’t miss out on the heart-pounding Riofest 5k Festival Run that promises to elevate your
excitement to new heights running through the carnival and around festival grounds!
The festivities continue to on Saturday, November 11th, from noon till 11 pm. The main stage transforms into a stage of dreams, featuring unforgettable performances from HCISD talents, local musicians and bands, the legendary La Mafia, and closing out the night will be Diamond Rio.
And that’s not all – prepare to have your senses tantalized by the tantalizing aromas wafting from the Riofest BBQ Cook-Off, a culinary showdown of epic proportions. But wait, there’s an extra dose of culinary
exploration in store, as new food vendors join the party on day two, ensuring your taste buds remain in a perpetual state of satisfaction. And yes, the thrills of the grand carnival are far from over, as Hearts of America continues to light up the night sky with their exhilarating carnival experiences, all the way through to Sunday the 12th.
