BANDA LA TRAKALOSA es originaria de Monterrey N.L, fundada a mediados del 2011, aunque su origen data del dia 7 de enero del año 2010 cuando Edwin Luna funda la Banda Escandalosa por jóvenes que gustaban de esta música en Monterrey.
Edwin Luna, fundador y líder de La BANDA LA TRAKALOSA empezó su gusto por la música desde los 5 años, ya que desde pequeño escuchaba música norteña al lado de su padre Miguel Luna, integrante del legendario grupo El Palomo y el Gorrión, quién también le enseñó a tocar el acordeón de piano.
No fue hasta los 15 años que empezó a cantar profesionalmente en bodas, al formar parte de varios grupos versátiles. A los 17 años inició su peregrinaje por el medio musical al integrarse a la Banda Don Arsenio en Cadereyta Jimenez, Nuevo León; posteriormente formó parte de la Banda Sinaloa.
