El rodeo como deporte profesional y feredaro ofrece siete disciplinas distintas, Cuernos Chuecos con su Tour anual promueve solo una de estas siete, la mas explosiva, emocionante y peligrosa, el Bullriding o Monta de Toro.
Este deporte consiste en montar a solo una mano en un toro durante ocho segundos sujetado de una “Cuerda” llamada pretal la cual se sujeta en los lomos del toro. El bullriding es un deporte de apreciacion, si el jinete (vaquero) se sujeta en los lomos del toro y logra mantenerse en el lomo durante ocho segundos tiene el derecho a una calificacion, entre mas grado de dificultad ofrezca el toro (reparos, giros, cambios de direccion) y mas sencillo y estetico lo haga parecer el jinete, mayor sera la puntuacion que obtendra el jinete.
Los tres jueces ofreceran una puntuacion de 0 a 100 puntos, la cual ortorga 50 puntos al rendimiento del toro y 50 al desempeno del vaquero, siempre y cuando se logren los ocho segundos arriba del toro. En caso de caer o tocar el toro con la mano libre la puntuacion sera de cero.
