Speedy was an honorable man of many titles. He was a loving husband and father, a beloved son and brother, and a distinguished friend and officer at Mission PD. At work, he enjoyed teaching rookies, mentoring colleagues, and serving his community. At home, he enjoyed spending time with his family, BBQing, and emphatically cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
When Speedy wasn’t inside the classroom leading a training course or out and about patrolling the community, you could see him on A&E’s Live PD and National Geographic’s Border Wars TV shows. That’s right, our very own hometown hero was also a true action hero on TV.

Perla Yuridia nace un 28 de agosto de 1983 en Monterrey Nuevo León, desde muy pequeña mostró su gusto por el canto y la actuación. Recibió de su madre las primeras enseñanzas de canto, que debido a su situación económica no contaba con los recursos para pagar una escuela de arte.
Fue hasta 1998 cuando sus padres pudieron otorgarle la oportunidad de prepararse en la A.N.D.A. (Asociación Nacional de Actores) con el gran tenor Pedro Zagar (q.e.p.d.). Fue ahí donde un día tomando clases le habla al maestro imitando a “La India María” sin saber que entre el público se encontraba el que sería su descubridor Jesús González “Chis Chas” (q.e.p.d.) quien de inmediato la invitó a celebrar sus 40 años de carrera artística en el “Chis Chas Show”. Este mismo es quien la bautiza como “La India Yuridia”. Es ahí cuando decide adquirir su propia personalidad y no ser la típica india que no sabe nada, al contrario, se convierte en defensora de las mujeres sumisas y abnegadas.
Yuridia ha trabajado en diferentes ámbitos, como: presentaciones en diferentes escenarios, teatro, radio y sobre todo en televisión en programas como: Burundango y su loca TV, En curva con Recta, Mujeres al día, Cada Domingo con Judith Grace, Volumen 3, Visión Elite, Pantallazo, Improvisando Memotivo, Gruperísimo, Festival del Humor, Noches de Humor con Omar, Pokar de Estrellas, La tijera de Oro y Méteme Gol.

“What’s new with me?” OHH, so happy you asked!
Welllll…For the last few months I’ve been on tour (Alaska they have reindeer sausage! ) and working on a new show for NBC where I play a doctor (enema anyone?).
We’ve also been working on a new little home for the web. I was hoping you wouldn’t mind if I went all grandma-style by pulling out my scrapbooks (yes they have glitter on them) and sharing a few memories, past and present.
